HAZLE TWP. – State police at Hazleton reported the following:

• A man fled the Wal-Mart store on Airport Road with a five pack of v-neck T-shirts without paying at 6:50 p.m. Friday.

• Kenneth Ronald Cunningham of the township said two Apple iPod nanos were taken from his vehicle while it was parked on North Vine Street between 8 p.m. Friday and 6:30 a.m. Saturday.

FOSTER TWP. – State police cited Stanley Gelezinsky, 65, of Freeland, with harassment charges at 7:15 p.m. Friday at Eddie’s Nickel Restaurant, 1505 South St.

HANOVER TWP. – Police arrested Jarrett Edmonds, 27, of Glen Lyon, on charges he violated a protection of abuse order Friday.

Police said Edmonds’ wife, Margaret Raimondi, who has an active protection from abuse order against Edmonds, returned home to find him in her residence Friday. Police responding said they found Edmonds sleeping in Raimondi’s bed.

Edmonds was arraigned before District Judge Joseph Halasey and remanded to Luzerne County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 bail, police said.

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for May 12 at the Luzerne County Courthouse.

WILKES-BARRE – City police reported the following:

• Betty Davis, 62, of Coal Street, said money and prescription medication were taken from her purse late Friday night. Davis said she left her apartment to do laundry and closed but did not lock her door. She said she was gone nine minutes and found the contents of her purse emptied onto her couch.

• Ryden Simmons of Potomac, Md. told police Saturday morning that copper piping was removed from his residence on Carey Avenue.

• James Mitchell, 25, of Scott Street, told police Saturday morning that his 1995 Jeep bearing Pennsylvania license plate HSM-8544 was stolen from the area of Scott and Oliver streets.

• Tiffany Rivera of North Empire Court was charged with harassment after police said she slapped Delia Perez in the face during a domestic disturbance Saturday.

• Laura Clark of Barney Street said Saturday that a 17-inch Dell laptop computer was taken from her residence. A bathroom window was shattered to gain entrance, she said. The break-in and theft occurred between 8:15 a.m. and 4:03 p.m. on Monday.

• Kerry Conahan of Summit Street, Edwardsville, told police Saturday that she was on George Avenue when her boyfriend jumped on the hood of her vehicle, damaging the hood and windshield wipers. Conahan said he also threatened her. Charges will be filed after the amount of damage has been determined, police said.

• Jacob Ksiazkiewicz of North Street, Plymouth was charged with underage drinking, police said. An officer on patrol in the area of East Jackson and North Washington streets around 1:10 a.m. said he came across Ksiazkiewicz, who was carrying a plastic cup containing an alcoholic beverage.

The same officer later investigated a disturbance in the area around 1:20 a.m. that led to charges being filed against two New York state men.

Jordan Myles Buford of Riverside Drive, New York City faces a charge of underage drinking after he was found intoxicated, police said.

Denis Lew Rice of Euston Road, Garden City was highly intoxicated when the officer came in contact with him, police said. Rice was taken to police headquarters and was found to have a false driver’s license. He was charged with public drunkenness and possession of altered, forged or counterfeit documents. He was held until sober and released, police said.
