Sunny skies will stick around for the most of the week, but so will a chance for showers and thunderstorms.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 56 degrees as of 7:54 a.m. A mixture of clouds and sun greeting the morning commute, and the cooler-than-average temperatures made it feel like a fall morning.

There will be a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. today — otherwise, partly sunny skies are expected, with a high in the mid 70s. That slight chance of showers and thunderstorms will last up until 10 p.m. tonight, followed by partly cloudy skies overnight. Tonight’s low will be in the mid 50s.

The chance for showers and thunderstorms will return on Thursday, mainly after 11 a.m. Up to a tenth of an inch of rain is possible. Mostly sunny skies are expected otherwise, with a high in the upper 70s.

Partly cloudy skies are expected on Thursday night, with a low in the mid 50s.

The chance for showers and thunderstorms will stick around for Friday and Friday night. Friday’s high will be in the lower 80s under partly cloudy skies, and Friday night’s low ill be in the lower 60s under mostly cloudy skies.
