Alice Kowalchin

Alice L. Kowalchin, 66, of Newport Center, died Sunday at Mercy Hospital,
Wilkes-BarreBorn in Plymouth, she was the daughter of Ernest Rustay and the
late Celia Gowerewski.
A lifelong resident of Nanticoke, she attend Newport Township schools.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert in 1992; sons, Gerald and
Albert Jr.; brothers and sisters.
Surviving in addition to her father are sons, George, Plymouth; Steven,
Nanticoke; Thomas, Shickshinny; Wayne, Sheatown; three grandchildren; sisters,
Mrs. Anna Bloom, Newport Center; Mrs. Lucille McGee, Moscow; nieces and
nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Grontkowski
Funeral Home P.C., 51-53 W. Green St., Nanticoke, with the Rev. Timothy Hall,
pastor of Nebo Baptist Church, Nanticoke, officiating.
Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Sweet Valley.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to funeral
service Wednesday.
