Edward Rushton
   
March 31, 1996
    Edward Rushton, 74, of Seffner, Fla., and Youngstown, N.Y., died Sunday in
   
Columbia Brandon Regional Hospital, FloridaA native of Wilkes-Barre, he was
the son of the late Samuel and Kate Rushton.
   
He attended GAR Memorial High School, Wilkes-Barre, and lived in
Youngstown, N.Y., before moving to Florida.
   
He was employed as an abrasives manufacturer by the Carborundum Corp.
before retiring. Later, he moved to Seffner, Fla., in 1986.
   
He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Ransomville, N.Y., and
later, the United Methodist Church, Seffner, Fla.
   
He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Ruth Van Sicle; a
sister, Mrs. William (Dorothy) William; brothers, Norman and Charles Chere.
   
Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret Keil Kepp; sons, Jack Kepp,
Niagara Falls, N.Y.; Edward Kepp, M.D., Albermarle, N.C.; daughters, Mrs.
James (Ruth Ann) Hughes, Wilkes-Barre; Peggy Kepp Conser, Bolder, Colo.; Mrs.
Allen (Linda Kepp) Lederhouse, Ransomville, N.Y.; Jo Ann Kepp, Youngstown,
N.Y.; 10 grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
   
A memorial service will be at a later date in Youngstown, N.Y.
   
There will be no calling hours.
   
Funeral arrangements are by the Stowers Funeral Home, Brandon, Fla.
   
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the
donor’s choice.
