    Marion “Mickie” Boyle, 82, of Harveys Lake, died Monday at her homeBorn
in Edwardsville, she was the daughter of the late James and Myfanwy Lewis
Humphreys.
   
She was a 1932 graduate of Edwardsville High School.
   
She resided in Park Place, Kingston, for 25 years before moving to Harveys
Lake 30 years ago.
   
She was affiliated with and held various executive positions with the
Wyoming Valley Council of the Girl Scouts of America for over 40 years,
retiring in 1964. She also was a member of the Alderson United Methodist
Church, Harveys Lake, and was a past president and honorary member of the
Harveys Lake Women’s Service Club.
   
She and her husband, C. Wesley Boyle, celebrated their 58th wedding
anniversary on June 5.
   
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Lynne Austin,
Harveys Lake; a brother, James Humphreys, Palm City, Fla.; three
grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
   
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday from the Curtis L. Swanson
Funeral Home Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with the Rev. W.
William Kennard, pastor of the Alderson United Methodist Church officiating.
   
Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas.
   
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
