Gertrude (Bonham) Simpson, 92, of Hyattsville, Md. died ThursdayShe was
raised by the late Henry and Emma Remaley, Huntington Mills.
She was past-president of the Berwyn Women’s Club and a life-member of the
Eastern Star, Ruth Chapter Seven.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Murray Bonham.
Surviving are her husband, James Simpson, Dumfries, Scotland; a daughter,
Carolyn Bonham Palmatier, Berwick; five grandchildren; six
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday from the Gasch Funeral Home,
4739 Baltimore Ave., Hyattsville, Md.
Interment will be in Fort Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, Md.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First United
Methodist Church, 6201 Belcrest Road, Hyattsville, Md., 20782.
