    Verna C. Wagilorski, of Murray Street, Forty Fort, died Monday at Penn
   
State-Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-BarreBorn in
Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret Simonitis
Uravich. She lived in Plymouth before moving to Forty Fort in 1995.
   
She attended Plymouth schools.
   
She and her husband, Michael Sr., founded and managed Plymouth Wholesale
Foods and Wally’s Sales and Marketing Corp. They were the original owners and
distributors of Mister Softee ice cream trucks for more than 30 years. They
were known as “Mr. and Mrs. Softee” by area children. They also owned and
operated Ox Bow Antiques, Plymouth, for more than 40 years.
   
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1986; a daughter, Ruth Mundy,
in 1991; a sister, Anna Muchukot; and a brother, Clemence Uravich.
   
Surviving are sons Michael Jr., Sterling, Va.; David, Dallas; daughters
Carole Boyes, Forty Fort; Margaret Hughes, Mainesburg; sisters Isabelle
Desiderio, Larksville; Dolores Myers, Wilkes-Barre; 10 grandchildren; and four
great-grandchildren.
   
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday from the James M. Desiderio
Funeral Home Inc., 2 Academy Road, Marion Terrace, Hanover Township, with a
funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Casimir’s Church, Lyndwood, Hanover Township.
   
Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
   
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
