CLARKS SUMMIT — All Abington Heights School District students, parents, teachers, staff and community members are invited to attend an information session presented by The Center for Independent Living and hosted by the Abington Heights Special Education Department from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 14 in the Abington Heights High School Auditorium, 222 Noble Road, Clarks Summit.

Ed Ryan, CSPPPD Coordinator from The Center for Independent Living, will present information on available services.

The organization assists adults 18 years of age and older by developing specific service plans that suit their individual needs to live independently in the comfort and safety of their own homes. These in-home services include personal hygiene, meal preparation, laundry, housekeeping, therapies, home modifications, non-medical transportation and adult day services.

Ryan will explain who qualifies for these services and how to apply.

Contact Abington Heights Director of Special Education Dr. Fran A. Rassouli by phone at 570-585-8278 for special accommodations to attend this session or for more information about the program.
