Suzanne (Boyle) Rash, 58, of East Front Street, Berwick, died Thursday
afternoon, Nov. 4, 2004, at Berwick Hospital Center. Born July 28, 1946 in
Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of the late James and Marion (Graziul) Boyle.
    Suzanne was also preceded in death by her late husband, Frank Rash, who
died in 2001.
   
Mrs. Rash was a graduate of Hanover High School and Wilkes College, where
she received a bachelor’s degree in English education. She taught in the
Wilkes Barre School District as a reading specialist until her retirement in
2003.
   
She is survived by her daughter, Nickie Democko of Frazer, Pa.; son, Chris
Rash of Hudson, N.Y.; son, Joe Rash of Wilkes-Barre; grandsons, Max and Sam
Scarfone of Frazer; sisters, Patricia Heaman and Stephanie Cawley of White
Haven, Marion Petrillo of Wilkes-Barre, Michele Boyle of Binghampton, N.Y.;
Anne Boyle of Winston Salem, N.C.; and Jackie Ghormoz of Hanover Township.
   
There will be no public visitation. Suzanne’s family is inviting her
friends to join them for a Memorial Open House to be held at her home at 915
E. Front St. in Berwick, this Sunday, Nov. 7, from 2 until 6 p.m.
   
In lieu of flowers, friends may send memorial donations to the SPCA or the
Fresh Air Fund.
   
The Kelchner-McMichael Funeral Home, Inc. of 119-121 E. Third St., Berwick
is handling the arrangements for the Rash Family.
