“Sometimes the biggest surprises are right outside our windows!” wrote Diana Berry of Dallas. Fortunately, Berry had a camera handy to capture an image of this male ring-necked pheasant that visited her yard on Feb. 1 at 2 p.m. Berry took the photo through her living room window and said the pheasant has been back several times since. “This is the first ring-necked pheasant I’ve seen in years,” she added.
