With temperatures still in the 30s and snow still be piled on lawns and pavements in some areas, today might not seem very much like the first day of spring. But if you know where to look, there are signs aplenty. Sherry O’Malia of Martin O’Malia’s Greenhouses in Plains Township carries hydrangeas from the greenhouse on Tuesday as the family prepares for customers seeking out some colorful, fragrant Easter flowers. At right, a robin makes its way through the snow along the Susquehanna River near the Nesbitt Park boat launch.
