Beautiful, sunny days are upon us and the end of the year is coming quickly! We have so much to celebrate, enjoy, and give thanks for as a school family.
Best of Luck,
Class of 2014
Holy Rosary School recently honored the eighth grade with a Graduation Mass and class night. These special events were wonderful celebration of friendships forged over the years and memories made within the walls of Holy Rosary School. As the eighth graders prepare to leave us and move on to high school, we wish each and every student the best of luck, and we invite you to always remember and carry with you the lessons that you have learned at Holy Rosary School.
Each of you has been a special part of Holy Rosary School, and each of you will be missed. Go forward and continue making us proud, as you have always done. Thank you for helping to make Holy Rosary School such a wonderful place to learn and grow.
Thank you to all the teachers who have provided our students with an education that has well prepared them for the next phase of their lives, and special thanks to Mrs. Debbie Brady for her effort in making this a productive and memorable year for the Class of 2014.

Prayers for Peyton
and Dress Down Day
Seven-year-old Peyton Rusyn was involved in a car accident on May 14. Peyton is a first grade student at Pittston Area Primary Center who has sustained multiple injuries and had a long stay at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.
Holy Rosary student, Christina Heppding, attended a candle-lite vigil and balloon release at Jenkins Township Little League Field in honor of Peyton, and was inspired to help. A dress down day will be held on Monday, June 9, to help the Rusyn family with their increasing costs.
The cost for dressing down is $1, but donations of any amount are gladly accepted. Participation is optional. Your donation will be taken to M&T Bank and put into a fund that has been set up for the family. Additionally, we will be dedicating all of our prayers that day to Peyton.
Please remember that you must bring your Knoebel’s voucher with you on Friday to receive the discounted price of admission. Holy Rosary School will have pavilion 5.

Labels, Box Tops
Campbell’s Soup labels and Box Tops for Education are being collected at Holy Rosary School. These programs enable us to provide educational resources that may be unaffordable through our regular budget. They offer exciting merchandise like computers, software, sports equipment, reference materials, science and art items, even musical instruments.
Please continue your support of these programs by sending in your labels to the school office or by placing them in the church vestibule. If you have any questions, please contact the school’s office.
Also, please check labels for expiration dates. They can be sent in immediately and processed before they expire; there is no need to wait until you accumulate a quantity.
