In recognition of National Primary Week, students of The Commonwealth Medical College (TCMC) are partnering with Scranton Primary Health Care Center and the National Health Service Corps scholars to host their second community health fair on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at TCMC, 525 Pine St., Scranton. The health fair is free and open to the public.
Local organizations throughout the Greater Scranton area will be in attendance to promote well-being and healthy behaviors in the community. Free blood pressure screenings, health, nutrition and counseling information, children’s activities and much more will be available throughout the afternoon. Participants can also enjoy a bake sale and basket raffle. Proceeds will benefit the ThinkBIG Pediatric Cancer Fund.
