Mary D. McGraw, of North Sherman Street, Wilkes-Barre, died Thursday at
Mercy
Hospital, Wilkes-BarreBorn in Plymouth, she was daughter of the late Thomas
and Ann Corcoran Flannagan.
She graduated from St. Vincent’s High School, Plymouth, and attended
College Misericordia and the Cornell Medical Center, New York.
She graduated from the Mercy Hospital School of Nursing, Wilkes-Barre.
Before retiring, she was employed as a registered nurse by the Valley Crest
Nursing Home, Plains Township, and Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W.; a son, Thomas; a
sister, Ann Price; a brother, Thomas Flannagan.
Surviving are a son, Timothy T., Wilkes-Barre; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday from the Corcoran Funeral
Home, 20 S. Main St., Plains Township, with the Rev. Francis Kelly
officiating.
Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to the time of service Monday.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
