    ernice A. Bugjo, 76, of First Street, Plymouth, died Wednesday at the
Hospice Community Care Inpatient Unit of Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.
   

   
Born Nov. 26, 1924 in Larksville, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and
Julia (Fertal) Kachurak. She attended Larksville schools. She was a member of
St. Mary’s-St. Stephen’s Church Community, Plymouth. She last worked as a
seamstress for the Wyoming Valley Garment Industry, Bass Manufacturing and
Leslie Fay. She was the past president and member of the Christian Mothers and
member of the St. Mary’s PTA. She was a member of the International Ladies
Garment Workers and the Ladles Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars
Plymouth Post 1425, St. Mary’s Senior Citizens Friendship Club and the
Plymouth Goodwill Hose Co., where she ran Bingo.
   
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph R.; grandson, Gary;
brother, Andrew; and sister, Adele Patrick.
   
Surviving are her daughter, Diane Nice, Tresckow; and Debbie Miller,
Exeter; and Joseph D., Plymouth; eight grandchildren, three
great-grandchildren; sisters, Eleanor Lovick and Betty Flaherty, both of
Baltimore; brother, Edward, California; nieces and nephews.
   

   
The funeral will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday from the S.J. Grontkowski Funeral
Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. at
St. Mary’s Nativity Church, Plymouth. Interment will be in the parish
cemetery, Plymouth Township. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Sunday. Prayer services will be conducted Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu
of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice Community Care
Inpatient Unit of Mercy Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.
