Women’s basketball

Ashley Evans scored 20 points, including 16 in the second half, and Chantel Blake recorded a double-double that included a game-high 15 rebounds to lead Keystone College to a 77-75 victory over visiting Wells College in non-conference women’s basketball action on Jan. 7 in the Gambal Athletic Center.

Eastern University got a game-high 22 points from Gina DiDomenico and 21 rebounds Emily Lavin on its way to a 73-64 victory over Keystone College in non-conference women’s basketball action on Jan. 9 at the Gambal Athletic Center.

The Giants slip to 9-3 after having their winning streak snapped at three games.

The Giants will travel to play Centenary College (N.J.) Jan. 15 at 7 p.m. They will host Cabrini College Jan. 18 at 1 p.m. and Cedar Crest College Jan. 20 at 6 p.m.

Men’s basketball

Keystone College’s men’s basketball team overcame a 22-point halftime deficit in its Jan. 8 Colonial States Athletic Conference game at Rosemont College, but the Ravens pulled out a 76-71 victory over the Giants after reclaiming the lead in the final two minutes of regulation.

Keystone’s third-straight defeat drops their record to 5-5 overall and 2-1 in the CSAC.

The Giants will host Cairn University Jan. 15 at 7 p.m., Rosemont College Jan. 18 at 3 p.m., and Immaculata University Jan. 20 at 8 p.m.
