William O. Dickinson, died Sunday, March 9 in his home in Falls Twp. His wife is the former June Keller; the couple was married 61 years last October.
Born in Falls Twp., he was the son of the late Alfred and Hilda Johnson Dickinson. He was a lifelong resident of Falls Twp. Bill was a self -employed farmer and also drove a school bus for the Abington Heights School District for over 40 years. He was a Navy Veteran serving in World War II. He was a member of the Schultzville United Methodist Church.
Also surviving are two sons, Dennis and Ralph both of RD2, Dalton; a daughter, Donna Sluck, RD2, Dalton; brother Richard, Lake Winola; a sister Norine Carpenter, Dalton; seven grandchildren, two great -grandchild, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth and two sisters, Jean Urban and Audrey Landsiedel.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 13 at 11a.m. from the Schultzville United Methodist Church. Interment will be private at convenience of the family in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, March 12 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
