The David Blight School of Dance, with locations in Wilkes-Barre, Mountain Top, Pittston and Scranton, participated in the St. Patrick’s Day parades in Wilkes-Barre and Scranton. The group was presented with the 2008 Paul Heppler Memorial Award for best dancers. Their winning routine to “I’m Gonna Be (500 miles),’ by The Proclaimers, was choreographed by Candice Miscavage and Chrissy Howe, dance captain.
