Stasia A. Glova, 92, of Cemetery Road, Wapwallopen, and formerly of Glen Lyon, died Saturday, September 19, 2009, at her home.
Stasia was born in Glen Lyon on October 18, 1916, a daughter of the late Andrew and Amelia (Biesiadecki) Glova. She attended Newport Township schools and was a member of Corpus Christi Parish/St. Adalbert’s Church. She was employed as a wrapper and machine operator for General Cigar in Nanticoke and Consolidated Cigar in Berwick.
She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Eva Glova; sister Josephine Butka; infant brothers Walter and Frank Glova; brothers Joseph, Stanley, John and Edmund Glova.
Stasia is survived by nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Relatives and friends of Stasia are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Corpus Christi Parish/St. Adalbert’s Church, Market Street, Glen Lyon, with the Rev. Joseph Kutch officiating. Interment will be held in St. Adalbert’s Cemetery, Glen Lyon.
Arrangements are by the George A. Strish Inc. Funeral Home, 211 West Main Street, Glen Lyon.
