Jayne L. Hilenski, of Mountain Top, passed away on Thursday morning, Feb. 4, 2010, at her residence.
Born in Nanticoke, she was a daughter of the late James and Adeline (McLaughlin) Dominick.
Jayne was a 1977 graduate of Crestwood High School and then received her degree in accounting from the Thompson Institute in Harrisburg.
She worked in the payroll department at the American Cigar Corporation in Mountain Top and in the accounting department at the Bevaco Corporation in Pittston. Jayne also served as the business manager for a local nursing home for 20 years.
She was a member of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Mountain Top and was the only female member of the Nuangola Rod and Gun Club, organizing the yearly cancer benefit shoot.
Jayne enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be deeply missed.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, was her grandmother Emma McLaughlin.
Surviving are her husband, Mark, along with a son, Matthew; and a daughter, Anne, all at home; her sister, Kathy Givler, Harrisburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Mountain Top, with Pastor Michele Kaufman officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Dorrance. Friends may call today, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the McCune Funeral Home, 80 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of the Sacred Heart.
