Helen Kredlow, 91, formerly of Tobyhanna, died at Alexandria Manor, Bath.

Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary Kovach Stofik. She was a graduate of Pittston High School, and prior to retirement was employed by New Jersey Bell Telephone, Morristown, NJ. She was also a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Pittston.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kredlow who died March 21, 1990; brothers Michael, John and Edward Stofik; and sisters, Elizabeth Dructor and Anna Wassil.

Surviving are a daughter, Imelda Russo, and her husband Jerry of Randolph, NJ; a son, Joseph Kredlow, and his wife Nannette of Washington, D.C.; grandchildren, Tara Russo, Marisa and Xandra Kredlow; brothers, Bernard Stofik, and his wife Vivian of Pennsylvania; and Joseph Stofik of New Jersey; nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held Tuesday at 12 p.m. from the Bernard J. Piontek Funeral Home, 204 Main St., Duryea, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30 p.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, Pittston. Interment St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Exeter. Friends may call Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the funeral home.
