Keystone College’s women’s 4x200 meter relay team set a new school record to highlight performances by the Giants over the weekend at the annual Penn Relays held at the University of Pennsylvania’s Franklin Field. Nicole Delevan, Saviana Jocelyn, Kirsten Hollister, and Raisha Piper combined to post a time of 1:46.24 in the event as the team broke the program-best mark set last spring.
In other events, Delevan, Jocelyn, Hollister, and Aneisha Willams posted a time of 51.63 seconds in the women’s 4x100 meter relay while Jada Phillips posted a mark of 11.43 meters in the women’s shot put competition.
On the men’s side, the 4x100 meter relay team of Kyle Laniewski, Dushaun Blackwood, Maleik Torres, and Dan McSurdy ran a time of 43.49 seconds before the same four runners clocked in at 1:31.47 in the 4x200 meter relay.
In the men’s 4x400 meter relay, Abdul Hamid, Jeremy Flohr, David Strum, and Christian English posted a time of 3:31.82.
Keystone will compete on May 3 at Lions Invitational hosted by the College of New Jersey. Events are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. in Ewing, New Jersey.
