King’s Aquatics Swimming Lesson Program will begin this fall in the Scandlon Gymnasium pool. Lessons will be offered Monday and Wednesday nights, Oct. 21-Nov. 13. Wilkes Girls Lacrosse Clinic will be held Saturday, Nov. 2 with registration beginning at 9:30 a.m. an the clinic going 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the University Center on Main Street. Cost is $40 and deadline to register is October 18.
Wyoming Seminary Wrestling Clinic will be held on Sunday, Oct. 27. The clinic is open to all area wrestlers of all ages. The clinic will run from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Carpenter Athletic Center at Wyoming Seminary. Athletes will meet and learn from Kyle Drake, four-time NCAA champion at Cornell. Drake is the only wrestler ever to win four titles in four different weight classes. Tickets are $50 in advance and $60 at the door. Nanticoke Area School District Winter Sports physical exams will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Dr. Olenginski’s office, 4 E. Main St. in Nanticoke. Any student-athlete who did not obtain a physical for fall sports is required to have one prior to the winter season. Students who have already had their physical only need to complete the re-certification form to be eligible to participate. Those who have not should complete the CIPPE form prior to the physical exam. No one will be permitted to practice without the required forms.
