Cheryl Ann Bencho and Robert Peter Granko Sr. were united in marriage Sept. 7, 2013, on Decatur St. Beach, Cape May, N.J. Pastor Paul Metzloff of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Kingston, Pa., officiated the ceremony.
Guests and the wedding party arrived at the ceremony by trolley.
The bride was escorted to the ceremony by her nephew and godson, Matthew Klimas. Roxanne Watson Cruz, dear friend of the bride and groom, served as maid of honor; Karen Klimas, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor; Mikayla Klimas, niece of the bride, served as junior bridesmaid; and Amanda and Dayna Cruz, nieces of the bride and groom, served as flower girls.
Sandy Miller, dear friend of the bride and groom, was honored by the couple at the wedding and escorted by Mike Klimas, brother-in-law of the bride.
The groom chose his longtime friends, Joe Moceyunas, Mickey Webb and Art Stanton, as his best men. Ushers were Mike Klimas, brother-in-law of the bride, and Matthew Klimas, nephew of the bride.
Scripture readings were given by Cami Woehlecke, friend of the bride and groom.
An afternoon reception, hosted by the bride and groom, was held at Panico’s Bistro, Cape May, N.J.
The couple hosted their loved ones for the weekend at the Windward House Bed and Breakfast, Jackson Street, Cape May, N.J. Friday evening the couple and their guests enjoyed a trolley ride to many points of interest in Cape May followed by dinner at Panico’s Bistro Cape May.
A champagne toast in honor of the couple was hosted by Sandy Miller, dear friend of the couple and owner of the Windward House, Cape May.
The couple spent two weeks in Cape May and also have a 12-day honeymoon planned touring Italy in the spring of 2014.
The couple resides in their new home in Plains Township.
