Bethany Ann Tomascik and Kevin Carle were united in marriage on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, in the Chapel of Christ the King at King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, by Deacon Peter Smith and the Rev. Cheryl Cavalari.
The bride is the daughter of Robert and Susan Tomascik, Courtdale. She is the granddaughter of Ann Reed and the late Richard Reed, Kingston.
The groom is the son of Myron and Paulette Carle, Larksville. He is the grandson of Paul Figler and the late Ann Figler, Shavertown, and the late Myron and Jule Carle, Kingston.
The bride was given away in marriage by her father. She chose her friend, Christine Attanasio, as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lynn Carle, sister-in-law of the groom, and Kim Chorey, friend of the bride.
The groom chose his friend, Joe Chorey, as his best man. Groomsmen were Tom Carle, brother of the groom, and R.J. Tomascik, brother of the bride.
Bethany is a 2003 graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School. She attended Misericordia University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration in 2007 and a master’s degree in business administration in 2010. Bethany is employed as an analyst by Fortigent, Rockville, Md.
Kevin is a 2000 graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and information systems from King’s College in 2004 and his law degree from Hofstra University in 2007. He is employed as an attorney with the Internal Revenue Service, Washington D.C.
The couple honeymooned in Hawaii. They reside in Gaithersburg, Md.
