Casale, Vanderhook

Jill Marie Vanderhook and Christopher Alexander Casale were united in marriage on Aug. 10, 2013, at Our Lady of Victory, Harveys Lake. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Daniel A. Toomey.

The bride is the daughter of Robert G. and Nancy Vanderhook, Dallas. She is the granddaughter of Frank and Rosanne Kozielski, Mountain Top, and Robert and Louise Vanderhook, Selbyville, Delaware.

The groom is the son of Albert P. and Cynthia Casale, Dingmans Ferry. He is the grandson of the late Joseph and Doris Ottofaro, Brooklyn, and Albert and Anna Casale, Dingmans Ferry.

The bride was escorted down the aisle and given in marriage by her father. She chose her sister, Laura Vanderhook, as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Diana Glicini, Laura DePrimo, Mary Punches and Kathrine Kupstas, all friends of the bride.

The groom chose his brother, Michael Casale, as best man. Groomsmen were Joseph Cuzzone, brother of the groom, and Michael Mitchell and Joshua Ferry, friends of the groom.

Scriptural readings were given by Lois Blockus, aunt and godmother of the bride, and Claudia Farula, aunt and godmother of the groom. Offertory gifts were presented by Cynthia Mirra and Marissa Blockus, cousins of the bride. Organist Helen Neylon was accompanied by featured violinist Mary Ann Saylor, cousin of the bride.

The bride was honored at a display shower given by her mother, the mother of the groom and her bridesmaids at Appletree Terrace at Newberry Estate, Dallas. A rehearsal dinner was given by the parents of the groom at The Boathouse at Harveys Lake. An evening reception was held at the Highlands at Newberry Estate, Dallas.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Dallas High School and a graduate of Kutztown University with a bachelor’s degree in art education. She has completed her master’s degree in middle level mathematics at Wilkes University. She is employed as an art teacher in the Lake-Lehman School District.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Delaware Valley High School and a graduate of Kutztown University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and business. He is the owner of Pure Edge Technology, a full-service telecommunications company.

The couple honeymooned in the jungles and beaches of Belize. They reside in the Back Mountain.
