The bride is the daughter of Michael Yacovelli, Gainesville, Florida, and Ann Hall, Pittston. She is the granddaughter of the late Michael and Jenny Yacovelli, Scranton, and the late Stanley and Eleanor Turkos, Duryea.
The groom is the son of Joseph Lyons, Laflin, and Trudy Stanczyk, Duryea. He is the grandson of the late Thomas and Nancy Lyons, Avoca.
The bride was attended by her sister, Jennifer Lewis, Exeter, as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Heather Yacovelli, Dupont, sister of the bride; Colleen Yacovelli, Effort, sister of the bride; Kelly Harrison, Lakeland, Florida, step-sister of the bride; Krista McGlynn, Duryea, cousin of the bride; Ashley Verdine, Pittston, friend of the bride; and Florence Zaino, Pittston, friend of the bride.
Joseph Kozlowski, Laflin, friend of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Keith Brown, Avoca, friend of the groom; William Brown, New Market, Maryland, friend of the groom; Robert Ardoline, Chester Springs, friend of the groom; Patrick Ratchford, Wyoming, friend of the groom; Scott Oppel, North Largo, Florida, friend of the groom; and Matthew Allardyce, Duryea, friend of the groom.
The ceremony and reception were held at The East Mountain Inn and Suites, Wilkes-Barre.
The bride is a graduate of Pittston Area High School and Misericordia University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing.
The groom is a graduate of Pittston Area High School and is the owner/operator of Lyons Barber Shop, Avoca.
The couple honeymooned in St. Lucia.
