Amy Pelak and Josh Rothstein were married on Sunday, May 25, in a private ceremony in Philadelphia, followed by a reception and sharing of their vows with close family and friends at In Riva in the East Falls neighborhood of Philadelphia.

The bride is an academic adviser in the graduate nursing program in the College of Nursing and Health Professions at Drexel University. She graduated from Wyoming Valley West High School in 2001 and from the College of Wooster, Wooster, Ohio, in 2005. She earned a master’s degree in higher education from the University of Georgia. She is the daughter of Anne Pelak, Kingston, and the late Mark Pelak.

The groom is an English teacher at the High School for the Creative and Performing Arts in Philadelphia. He is also a certified Philadelphia tour guide and is associated with Philly Bike Tour Company. He graduated from Lower Merion High School in 2002 and Temple University in 2007 and is currently pursuing a master’s degree at the University of Northern Colorado. He is the son of Bonnie Rothstein, Penn Valley.
