Snow, yes snow, postponed play between the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders and the Buffalo Bisons on Tuesday in Buffalo.

The doubleheader’s white-blanket banishment means a pair of double dips has been added to the schedule.

Today, the teams will play a single game at 6:05 p.m. Righty Chase Whitley (0-1, 7.71 ERA) will start for the RailRiders against right-hander Marcus Stroman (0-1, 1.80) of Buffalo.

There will be a doubleheader on Thursday starting at 12:05 p.m. The other postponement will be made up as part of a doubleheader on July 2 at Buffalo, with the first game starting at 5:35 p.m.

The RailRiders have had six game dates and eight total contests postponed due to weather on the young year.

John Sadak will have the play-by-play call on radio today with Aaron Berlin’s pregame coverage starting at 5:35 p.m. on NEPA Sports Radio - The GAME (100.7 FM, 1340 WYCK-AM, 1400 WICK-AM, 1440 WCDL-AM and 106.7 FM).

The RailRiders return home on Friday to start an eight-game homestand.
