Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School recently inducted nine graduating students into the Cum Laude Society, the national academic honor society for college preparatory schools, during the 166th commencement ceremonies. The new inductees are: Gregory Barber, Kingston; Brandon Golden, Moscow; Kelsey Hannigan, West Pittston; Michael Kachmar, Kingston; Pooja Patel, Laflin; Emily Rogers, Clarks Summit; Marco Santarelli, Dallas; Max Schwager, Kingston; Philipp Seeberger, Kaiserslautern, Germany; Brigid Smith, Mountain Top; Sunny Stirewalt, Shavertown; Komo Yamashita, Greenwich, Conn.; and Mengyi Ying, Shanghai, China. Each year, previous members of the organization elect new senior class members in both fall and spring. Membership in Cum Laude is extended to the top 20 percent of students in the senior class.
