Lehigh Valley now has two wins through three games of the four-game series, taking Sunday afternoon’s contest 9-4 by scoring multiple runs in the fourth, fifth and seventh innings en route to the victory.

RailRiders at the plate: Seven batters had one hit for SWB on the afternoon, with Zoilo Almonte, Adonis Garcia and Ronnier Mustelier accounting for the run-scoring hits.

RailRiders on the mound: Caleb Cotham started off well, getting the first seven batters out, but after that he gave up five runs and six hits while only lasting 4 1/3 innings. Shane Greene, David Herndon and Robert Coello saw time in relief but couldn’t keep the IronPigs from adding to their lead. Coello and Stoneburner were the only two RailRider pitchers to not allow a run.

Riding the Rails: RailRiders reliever Preston Claiborne was called up to New York on Sunday, while fellow right-hander Matt Daley was designated for assignment by the Yankees and infielder Scott Sizemore was optioned to Scranton/Wilkes-Barre prior to the start, but they were not with the team Sunday. Two players who were activated prior to the game were right-handers Graham Stoneburner and Robert Coello. … There was an Easter egg hunt held on the lawn seating area prior to Sunday’s game.

Miley’s Milestone watch: SWB Hall of Fame manager Dave Miley remains just one win short of tying the franchise mark of managerial wins of 574, set by Marc Bombard in 2004.
