The RailRiders took an early lead, but Rochester came back to defeat SWB 7-5 on Tuesday night at PNC Field.

Diego Moreno, who was activated off the disabled list before the game, pitched the seventh and allowed one run. Francisco Rondon pitched the eighth and only got one out before he was pulled for Preston Claiborne, who went the next 1 1/3 innings. He got two outs in the ninth and loaded the bases before getting pulled for Robert Coello, who got the last out via strikeout.

Riding the Rails: A few transactions were made by the RailRiders on Tuesday as shortstop Dean Anna and reliever Diego Moreno were activated from the disabled list. In corresponding moves, right-hander Heath Bell was released and infielder Carmen Angelini was sent to Double-A Trenton. … This is the third time Bell was released this season.
