The family of Rebecca Lynne Renninger would like to thank the following people for making the sixth “Concert for Rebecca — Stop Domestic Violence Now” a great success! A total of $2,000 was donated with all money being equally divided between Domestic Violence Service Center and Victims Resource Center.

This would not have been possible without the help from the following people: King’s La Cantina for hosting the event for four years in a row, Don Shappelle and The PickUps Band and John Lukas/Lenny Kishel providing great live music, Tammy Rodgers and Pat Rushton for their educational speaking, Maryellen Aton/ Mountain Peaks, Stephanie Grubert/Mountain Top Eagle, Sandra Serhan and Pat Rushton/ The Citizen’s Voice, The White Haven Journal/Ruth and Seth lsenberg, The Times Leader, Claudia Strycharz, Dr. Don and Debbie Stone, Pastor Michelle Kauffman, St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Kate Button/Button Oil Company, Joe and Pam Yuscavage/Triangle Pharmacy, A&R Supply, Carone’s Market, The Ice House Pub, Wychocks Beverage, Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club, Wheels Bar & Grill, Jeff and Mary Harrison, Jim and Roberta Mohr, Joe and Rochelle Boyle, Cindy Haage, Rachel O’Brien, The Chalet Restaurant, Subway, Don and Brigid Shappelle, Lloyd and Jen Harrison, Kurt and Lisa Rebovich, Tom and Elizabeth Griswold, Thrivent Financial Services, Bergers, Linda Kokinda, and Tom Renninger.

Thank you to all the people who attended this very important event.

There will never be an admission fee for the concert, because it is not about the money being raised, but creating educational awareness for women in abusive relationships to seek help before it is too late.
