We have gone from county commissioners to county council — big difference. County council members attend meetings, fight among their various cliques, and get paid. Has this group toured any of the county offices?

I have recently had business at Penn Place and the courthouse. Disturbing. The base problem in county offices is under-staffing. You must wait in line due to a lack of employees. How these people are so pleasant amazes me.

They have too much to handle. Paperwork is backed up and empty desks are everywhere. I am sure the council sees this and asks questions during their visits.

Visiting Penn Place also involves money spent on parking.

I have seen where managers want aides at hefty salaries. Present managers, get down with extra work. You are no better than your employees except for your higher salaries. Do your jobs.

To finish, thank you to overworked employees. They are overworked, underpaid and understaffed. Seems you are disregarded by your own boss.

County taxes are not used by hard working county employees but by poor management, problems the council members do not see.

Thank you for your kind aid. You are doing a great job.
