The terror that stuck Paris for a second time did not originate in Iran or with sponsorship from Bashar al-Asad. The rise and expansion of ISIS would have been impossible without Turkey allowing arms and fighters to cross its border.

Compounding the problem, there are those in Congress who are pushing for U.S. air cover under the guise of protecting civilians. This will protect the al-Qaeda offshoot, which receives substantial aid from Qatar and Saudi Arabia, as it attacks Damascus.

Regime change is a failed policy, and our war against ISIS and the jihadists cannot progress as long as we are aligned with false allies.
