We, the members of the Hanover Township Fire Department and the Valley with a Heart, would like to take a moment of your time to than” everyone from both organizations who participated in the recent Mud Bog fundraiser.

It is comforting to see everyone work together and the support we had in these troubling days of the world unrest. We wish to thank with our sincere appreciation everyone from the public who participated, sponsored and supported the event.

Thanks goes to John Basar of Hanover Nursery and his staff for the use of the land and equipment, John P. Halliday Trucking and Penn Earthworks for digging the pit and constructing the dirt ramps, TJ Evanko and his group for performing with their stadium trucks and Ayers Towing of Mountain Top for providing a tow truck.

We had many other entities that supported the event, and we wish to recognize them as well. They were: A & A Auto Stores, Beer Bellies Tavern of Hanover Township, Cee Kay Auto, Colbyte’s (website designer), Gatorade, Jack Williams Tire & Auto, J & K Fire Extinguisher Sales and Service of Kingston, Hanover Township Board of Commissioners, Hanover Township Public Works Department, Hanover Township EMS (MEDIC 9), Iron Cowboy band, Navient of Hanover Township, One Stop Auto of Nanticoke, R-Bar & Grill of Newport Township, Sanitary Ice of Wilkes-Barre, Rick Banashefski’s Auto Body of Hanover Township and the Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority.

We would also like to also extend our appreciation to the fire police from Back Mountain Regional, Forty-Fort, Kingston, Nanticoke, Newport Township and West Wyoming for assisting with the traffic control and to the fire departments of Ashley, Nanticoke and Sugar Notch.
