FAIRMOUNT TWP. — Madelyn Bonham is counting on a decrease in business next year.For 23 years she’s owned and operated the Red Rock Corner Store on Route 118, she said, which thrives in no small way on anglers, swimmers and others en route to Lake Jean in Ricketts Glen State Park.But the lake will be fully drained next spring to accommodate reconstruction of a dam control tower, according to the state Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, leaving a giant mud puddle in its place.Bonham, of Fairmount Township, said some campers have told her they still plan to visit next year, if only for a glimpse at the drained lake.“I’m hoping I make a lot of sales on bug spray,” she said.
