There’s something about a picnic table in the summertime that just triggers the appetite.

Especially for bears.

Robert Zawada of Slocum Township used a trail camera to capture these images of bears visiting his picnic table. One of the bruins is so enormous it dwarfs the table. The other appears to be a female bear with three cubs from the previous year.

How about cubs born this winter?

George and Donna Farrell saw several in their Shavertown backyard earlier this month. Donna said there were four cubs, but they were moving so fast she was only able to photograph two of them.

Capture anything interesting on your hand-held or trail camera? A nice buck, bear, coyote or any other wildlife? We’d love to see it. Each week, we’ll run photos from a reader’s trail camera on the Sunday Outdoors page. Email your photo, along with date and area it was taken (township is fine), and any other details to [email protected].
