Duke’s Wednesday Night Bass Tournament at Harveys Lake sponsored by the Times Leader:

– Every Wednesday at the public boat launch on Harveys Lake. Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. and the tournament runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $20 per angler. For more information visit dukesbasstournament.com or call 570-991-0080.

Suskie Bassmasters Wednesday Night Summer Elite Series:

– Every Wednesday night beginning on June 24 at Nesbitt Park boat launch in Kingston (last Wednesday’s tournament was cancelled due to high river levels). Registration begins at 4:30 p.m. The tournament runs from 6 p.m. to 9 and membership is $20 for the year. For more information visit www.suskiebass.org or call 570-840-2431.

PA Bass Casters 2015 Open Buddy Tournament Trail:

Aug. 9 – Harveys Lake at the state ramp

Sept. 6 – Lake Carey at Frank’s Marina

Oct. 25 – Harveys Lake at the state ramp

– Fish with a buddy or alone. Five fish limit for every tournament. Harveys Lake tournaments start at sunlight with the exception of a no wake start due to Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission restrictions. All prizes are based on the number of boats. Any questions call Dan at 570-762-1469.

The Blytheburn Lake Association will hold a bass tournament on Saturday, September 19. Boats in the water at 6:30 a.m. and registration fee is $40 per boat (two people max). For more information contact Janeann at 570-868-6895.

2. John Centak and Chet Williams – 10.86 lbs.

Lunker – Brent Benedict and Steve Lowe – 3.17 lbs.

All Trophies (Power-Boat and Kayak) were provided by Mayor of Shickshinny, Beverly Moore and sponsored by several local businesses to include; PNC Bank, Shickshinny Area Hospital, State Farm, & Berwick Hospital Center (not all inclusive). PA Bass Caster’s July 25 club tournament at Harveys Lake (17 teams competed. Teams had to contend with heavy boat traffic but managed to being 49 fish to the scales for a total weight of 95 lbs.):

Duke’s Bass Tournament at Harveys Lake sponsored by the Times Leader on Wednesday, July 29 (28 boats, 44 anglers; tournament averages 64 percent of anglers weighing in fish, but on this night only 15 fish were brought to the scales as anglers battled heat and heavy jet ski and boat traffic on the lake):

2. Jonathan Kelley – 2.55 lb. smallmouth

3. Dave Brill – 2.42 lb. smallmouth

4. Jason Mitchell – 2.20 lb. largemouth
