Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins goaltender Matt Murray will not be participating in this weekend’s AHL All-Star game. The AHL announced he will be replaced by Mike McKenna. Murray didn’t practice on Thursday in order to rest, according to head coach Clark Donatelli.

Murray was one of three Penguins to be named to the team. Defenseman Derrick Pouliot is with Pittsburgh and will miss the event, and forward Dominik Simon is listed as day-to-day with an injury so his status is questionable.
