The Suskie Bassmasters will host a Wednesday tournament each week on the Susquehanna River beginning June 22. The tournament will be held at the boat launch in Nesbitt Park and registration begins at 4:30 p.m. Launch is at 6 p.m. and weigh-in is at 9 p.m. For more information, visit:

The Harveys Lake Wednesday Night Bass Tournament sponsored by the Times Leader will run weekly, beginning June 22. The championship round will include the top 30 anglers based on total weight over 12 weeks and will be worth $1,200. The lunker tournament (each angler weighing one fish) will begin at 6 p.m. with weigh-in at 9 p.m. at the launch. Sunday, July 3 at Lake Carey (Launch at Frank’s Marina), registration begins at 4 a.m., weigh-in at 1 p.m.

Sunday, July 17 at Harveys Lake (Launch at the state ramp), registration begins at 4 a.m., weigh-in at 1 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 4 at Lake Carey, registration begins at 4:30 a.m., weigh-in at 2 p.m.

Sunday, Oct. 30 at Harveys Lake, registration begins at 5:30 a.m., weigh-in at 2:30 p.m.

The Blytheburn Lake Association will hold two bass tournaments at Blytheburn Lake on Blytheburn Road in Mountain Top this summer. Tournaments run from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Pa Bass Casters at Lake Carey on June 19 – A calm cool morning to start with a full moon in the background and then bluebird skies to follow and very hot. Fifteen teams came out to fish and brought to the scales 102 pounds – 46 largemouth and 17 smallmouth, caught on jigs, senkos and crankbait.

1. Collin Morrison and Ryan McClain – 11.35 lbs., 5 fish

2. Joe Kosloski and Ken Kosloski – 9.85 lbs., 5 fish

3. Manny Hicks and Mark Checki – 9.34 lbs., 5 fish

4. Joe Lasecki and Mike Musial – 9.12 lbs., 5 fish
