Jeff Krisiak passed for 213 yards and two touchdowns for Misericordia University, but Lebanon Valley scored two second half touchdowns Saturday to break open a close game and defeat the Cougars, 28-13.

Krisiak was 26-41 on the day, and Colton Pyne tied a Misericordia school record with 11 catches for 99 yards.

Josh Dieter and Sam Gillison both had scoring receptions for the Cougars and Gillison had six catches for 49 yards.

Jared Henn led the Cougars defense with seven tackles, including six solo.

The Dutchmen scored on their first two possessions to take a 14-0 lead late in the first quarter.

Krisiak connected with Dieter for a 14-yard touchdown to get within 14-7 midway through the second period.

Moses Ulysse blocked a Lebanon Valley field goal attempt on the next series and the Cougars went into halftime down by seven.

Klayton Kelly returned the second half kickoff 24 yards to the 32 yard line and the Cougars appeared headed for a tying score. Krisiak hit Alec Rhoads for an 11-yard gain and first down at the 44 and found Gillison for six yards to midfield.

Pyne had a 19-yard catch for a first down at the Lebanon Valley 24, but the drive stalled there and the Dutchmen took over on downs.

Lebanon Valley responded with a 69-yard scoring drive to take a 21-7 lead midway through the third quarter.

Tom Anderson blocked a Lebanon Valley punt to give the Cougars the ball at the Dutchmen 47 yard line with 2:42 to go in the third quarter.

But the Dutchmen ended the threat with an interception at their own 17 and Brendon Irving went 79 yards for a score and a 28-7 lead with 12:37 to play.
