Dallas exploded for five second-half goals to clinch the Wyoming Valley Conference Division 1 title after beating Tunkhannock, 7-1, in a girls soccer game on Monday.

Samantha Mazula scored four goals, three on penalty kicks, and assisted on two others. Alison Francis had two goals while Rachel Nelligan made four saves in the win.

Sarah Ross scored the Tigers’ lone goal of the game.

Lake-Lehman 9, Wyoming Area 0

Mackenzie Love’s hat trick led the way as the Black Knights topped Wyoming Area.

Amanda Ayers had two goals and one assist, while Kyra Apaliski finished with a goal and an assist.

Wyoming Area’s Caitlin Butchko finished with 15 saves.

Wyoming Valley West 3, Coughlin 1

It was a total team effort as three different players scored to push Valley West past Coughlin.

Kennadi Josefowicz scored the Spartans’ first goal, while Riley O’Neil and Tiffany Michalek each scored second-half goals.

Valley West’s Danielle Cook made 12 saves in goal.

Pittston Area 3, Hazleton Area 0

Luchia Carabetta scored two of the Patriots’ three second-half goals, both assisted by Grace Mimnaugh, in a win over Hazleton Area.

Mia Barbieri scored Pittston Area’s last goal on a penalty kick and Taryn Ashby made one save in the shutout.

Coughlin 1, Wyoming Valley West 0

Chase Nowak’s goal at 72:14 in the second half proved to be the game winner for the Crusaders.

David Kosik made six goals for Coughlin, while Davis Weaver made two saves for the Spartans.

Hazleton Area 5, Pittston Area 0

Jonathan Pozniak scored two goals and had one assist, while Gabriel Fabian chipped in with a goal and an assist in Hazleton Area’s win.

Cougars’ goalkeeper Tyler Fancher recorded the shutout.

Dallas 4, Tunkhannock 0

Dallas scored all four goals in the first half to roll past Tunkhannock.

Zach Holthaus finished with two goals, while Eric Llewellyn had two assists. Kyle Greenwood made six saves in the win.

Tunkhannock goalie Matt Goodwin finished with 14 saves.

Holy Redeemer 5, Berwick 1

Josh Perta scored two goals and assisted on another as the Royals defeated Berwick.

Lucas Barnak chipped in with two assists and one goal, while Anthony Khourdary made five saves in goal.

Berwick goalie Dyllan Weaver finished with nine saes.
