Despite Wyoming Valley West taking a one-goal lead off of a Matt Proski shot in the second period, Susquehanna Valley battled back to skate to a tie decision on Sunday, Nov. 22. Defenseman Dylan Harry scored with just four minutes left off of a point shot that found its way through traffic and into the net.

Mike Novatnack made 25 saves in net for the Stampede while the Wyoming Valley West goalie Kenny Vought turned aside 38 shots during the contest.

Although the Spartans didn’t tally a win, the tie was enough to propel them to a tie for first place with Crestwood in the current standings.
