Madison Borum scored seven of her game-high 15 points in the fourth quarter as the Lake-Lehman broke open a close game with a big fourth quarter to down Meyers 47-31 in a girls basketball game Wednesday at Meyers High School.

Sarah Salus scored all of her eight points in the first half to help Lehman forge a 24-20 halftime lead.

Bella Skaff led the Mohawks with 10 points.

Holy Redeemer 77,

GAR 43

Talia Kosierowski scored a team-high 15 points and Julia Andrejko finished with 13 as the Royals built a 36-19 halftime lead and won going away.

Andrejko scored her first four points in the first quarter as Redeemer built a nine-point advantage and never looked back. Kosierowski scored seven points in the second quarter and six more in the third as the Royals increased their advantage.

Samantha Rajza added 10 points in Redeemer’s victory. Khira Cook scored a game-high 19 points for GAR, while her teammate Alexis Whiting finished with 15.

Hazleton Area 55,

Coughlin 19

Kendra Pfeil scored 10 of her game-high 11 points in the third quarter as the Cougars cruised to victory.

Marissa Trivelpiece got Hazleton Area out early by scoring six of her eight points in the opening quarter, helping Hazleton Area to a quick 13-0 lead. The Cougars defense held Coughlin to 10 points in the second quarter and nine the entire second half.

Berwick 57,

Hanover Area 41

Reese Mensinger scored 24 points and Tori Talanca finished with 17 and the Bulldogs raced to victory by building a 10-point lead after the first quarter.

Madison Hooper finished with 12 points for the Hawkeyes.

Wyoming Seminary 64,

Lackawanna Trail 29

Dimitri Gnall led the way for Wyoming Seminary, scoring a game-high 23 points. Wyoming Seminary’s Jeremy Callahan made a game-high three 3-pointers.

Delaware Valley 51,

Coughlin 38

Charles Cobbs scored a game-high 17 points for Coughlin, but Delaware Valley used a balanced scoring attack to down the Crusaders in a game played Tuesday.

Four players scored in double figures for the Warriors, led by Blake Gearhart’s 13 points on the strength of three 3-point field goals. Tyler Smith scored five of his 12 points in the third quarter as Delaware Valley turned a one-point game at halftime into a 40-31 lead entering the final quarter.

Shane Acoveno scored nine of his 11 points in the fourth quarter to help the Warriors protect that lead, while Zach Klapak finished with 10 points.
