Kate Romanowski scored six of Wyoming Seminary’s 15 goals in a 15-9 win over Pittston Area in a girls lacrosse game on Thursday .

Abby Straub and Emily Sims each scored two goals, while Mia Raineri made six saves in goal for Sem.

Pittston Area was led by Dana Zalewski and Bailey Jordan’s two goals. Brooklyn Pedana recorded eight saves.

Crestwood 14, Wyoming Area 5

Hannah Ackers’ four goals and one assist led the Comets’ charge against Wyoming Area.

Mackenize Kile and Natasha Koslop scored two goals a piece for Crestwood.

Claudia Waltz finished with one goal and one assist for Wyoming Area.

Delaware Valley 6, Dallas 3

Dallas trailed by just one at halftime, but Delaware responded with a four-goal second half en route to the win.

Dallas’ Sam Delamater finished with a goal and an assist, while Lauren Delamater and Katie Kapral each scored a goal.

Kathleen Brown made seven saves for the Mountaineers.

Sera Shafer led Delaware Valley with two goals and one assist.

Tunkhannock 1

Katie Strohl scored five goals and Hallie Jenkins added three goals to the Black Knights’ win over Tunkhannock.

Kate Roberts had a goal and three assists.

Tunkhannock’s Tamara St. Clair scored one goal.

Coughlin 16, Scranton Prep 7

Brigid Wood and Savanna Robinson each scored six goals as the Crusaders (11-1) rolled past Scranton Prep.

Kristi Pearage finished with three goals, while Kyra Wozniak had one goal and Sarah Price had four saves in goal for Coughlin.

BOYS VOLLEYBALL

Dallas 3, Hanover Area 0

Jared Thompson had nine kills and four aces and Corbin Thompson chipped in with seven kills and six service points in Dallas’ 25-10, 25-12, 25-21 win. Steve Darling had 16 assists and eight service points for the Mountaineers.

Leading the Hawkeyes were Mike Yaple (two kills, three digs, two blocks), Devin Senk (three service points, one kill, two digs, seven assists) and Sean Connelly (three service points, one ace, 14 digs).

Crestwood 3, Coughlin 0

Michael Williams amassed 29 assists, 10 service points and five digs in Crestwood’s sweep of Coughlin.

Match scores were 25-21, 25-16, 25-21.

Kyle Sanders finished with 10 kills, six service points, five digs, Noah Jackson had 10 kills and two blocks and Mendell Foreman recorded nine kills, two blocks and three digs for the Comets (5-5).

Delaware Valley 3, Berwick 0

Delaware Valley downed the Dawgs in three close games, 25-23, 25-20, 26-24.

Dave Oliver paced Berwick with 15 kills, eight points and seven digs. Joe Norce had six kills, six points and two blocks. Cody Whitebread contributed seven blocks.
