Holy Redeemer’s Amanda Curcio, Brynn Kukosky and Kylar Osenkarski were all named to the Pennsylvania College Coaches Association 2A All-State team.

The trio played a large role in the Royals run to the PIAA 2A semifinals, where Holy Redeemer fell to North Star in four sets.

Curcio led the way for Holy Redeemer, registering a team-high 18 kills, 13 assists, six service points, three blocks and a dig. Kukosky chipped in with nine kills, nine service points, three digs and a pair of aces, while Osenkarski added six kills and four blocks.

“When we started we didn’t have any chemistry together because none of us really played together — two of us basically played together — and it was great to see these sophomores and juniors grow together, and as a team we grew together,” Curcio said after the November loss. “To make it this far was one heck of an accomplishment.”

Both Curcio and Kukosky are seniors while Osenkarski is a sophomre.
