Ben Gamel singled to start a five-run rally in the sixth inning, then ripped a two-run double in the eighth as the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders rallied for a 10-4 victory over Syracuse in an International League baseball game in Syracuse.

Gamel’s sharp single started the comeback, and later, Cito Culver drilled a run-scoring double while Jake Cave, Mason Williams and Rob Refsnyder ripped run-scoring singles. Pete Kozma added a sacrifice fly in the frame as the RailRiders grabbed a 7-4 lead.

Clint Frazier tripled and scored on Cave’s single in the seventh, and the RailRiders added their final three runs in the eighth when Gamel chased home Williams and Donovan Solano with a double, then scored Frazier’s single.
