The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders were already getting hot before Clint Frazier went on his tear. But the power surge from Frazier has managed to give the team another boost.

Frazier homered for the third straight game on Friday and the RailRiders used a big sixth inning to rally past Toledo for a 4-2 victory on the road. It was the squad’s 10th win in the last 12 games to improve its record to 26-18 on the season.

This time, Frazier went deep in the second inning, launching a ball off the video board in left field for his team-best ninth home run. But the lead didn’t last long as Efren Navarro hit a two-run double in the bottom of the third off of starter Chance Adams.

The Mud Hens (21-25) remained in front until the sixth when Ji-Man Choi and Mason Williams both hit RBI singles in an inning where the RailRiders sent eight men to the plate.

Those runs gave Adams the victory as Tyler Webb, Ben Heller and Ernesto Frieri came on afterward to pitch four scoreless innings of relief. Frieri picked up his fifth save of the year.

Heralded prospect Gleyber Torres picked up his first Triple-A RBI with a single in the seventh for some insurance.

The four-game series continues at 7:05 p.m. Saturday as a pair of lefties duel in the RailRiders’ Caleb Smith and Toledo’s Matt Crouse.

NOTES: Prior to the game, Donovan Solano was activated from the seven-day disabled list and Tyler Austin was transferred to the RailRiders from Double-A Trenton. He has yet to report.
