If you walk into any baseball clubhouse or locker room at any level — professional, college or even high school — there’s a good chance music will be blasting out of someone’s speakers. It could be country, rock, hip-hop and rap, R&B, reggae or Latin music.

The same can be said as teams go through their pre-game workouts or players walk up to the plate or out of the bullpen.

Who plays the best music? You know what, I haven’t gotten a great feel for it, but Wilkin plays his good Latino stuff. Mason (Williams) has a boombox backpack that’s sweet.

What’s your pregame playlist? It just depends what’s going on. So if I’m working out I like a little bit more intense music, probably some hip-hop and something that just pumps me up. If I’m starting my day off, maybe a little Jack Johnson, Zac Brown. Something like that. It just depends the time of day or the mood.

What’s your walk-up song? I have a couple in there. It’s hard to find just a little part of a song that is kind of catchy, so we’ll see. I just picked out a new one (recently). It’s David Guetta’s “2U” with Justin Bieber, so we’ll see how that clicks. Just kind of a good beat and something that breaks down while you’re walking up. I think it’s different for everybody. Everybody has their own little flavor. Just depends on the personallity.

Who has the oddest walk-up song? I think it’s “Fireman.” A little Lil Wayne from Eddy (Rodriguez).
